Private Counselling for Adults

As adults, we often carry a lot. Responsibilities, expectations, and emotions that can feel difficult to manage alone. Sometimes something just feels off, even if you can’t quite put your finger on why.

Counselling offers a private, confidential space to slow down, talk openly, and begin to make sense of what’s going on for you.

Who I work with

You might be experiencing

  • Anxiety, worry, or panic
  • Low mood or depression
  • Stress or burnout
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Grief or loss
  • Life transitions – a new job, relationship change, bereavement, or feeling stuck
  • A sense that something isn’t right, even if you’re not sure what

You don’t need to be in crisis to seek support. Many people come to counselling simply because they want space to think, or because they’ve been putting themselves last for too long.

What to expect

Your first session

The first session is a chance for us to meet, for you to share a little about what’s brought you here, and for me to explain how I work. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with.

Ongoing Sessions

Sessions are one-to-one, typically 50 minutes, and take place at an agreed time and pace. We go at the speed that feels right for you.

My Approach

I work pluralistically, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what’s most helpful for you. That might include humanistic, psychodynamic, or CBT-informed techniques. What stays consistent is that the space is safe, confidential, and non-judgemental.
